He got ackshually-ed in some comments, but this one reads like a quiet "IT IS ABOUT ME!" and the response to that redditor's toddler-logic was stunning from reddit: https://archive.ph/VV77p#selection-34487.0-34613.193
It's where a person is so underdeveloped in their capacity of understanding, either through physical retardation or mental development, that they cannot understand that other people are people too. They have no empathy for them as people, they see them as background characters in their lives. They simply cannot fathom why someone would not give in to their wishes, unless they are a villain and completely evil. It's not because that person has their own wants and desires, its because that person is bad. It's the mentality of a toddler, they never got past that stage and developed the same understanding of humans you and I did between the ages of 6-10.
It's also another of those disorders Reddit loves, because, again, that must be something other people have because they can't be wrong, the other person must be a mental case or evil. Reddit is the home of the socially underdeveloped. They like to mock the tik tok girls for faking mental illnesses and physical problems, but reddit likes to diagnose everyone with psychological problems they don't and can't have.
My favorite interaction is a gay guy saying "so what, not everything has to be for you" https://archive.ph/VV77p#selection-32023.0-32023.147

Those comments are insane. Granted there are a few sane people but so many people seem to think every single show has to cater to them.
Main Character Syndrome is something these people will never get over.
What is that exactly?

There are a few good comments that are not even downvoted. Surprising for reddit
