Head of Xbox Studios Matt Booty has stated the Fable reboot will be brought forward "for today's sensibilities," and be a "modern take."

So, it'll be like FH5, with superfluous options like prosthetic limbs and hearing aids for your character.

Honestly, I wish they weren't making Fable either. You can tell they're busy by how repetitive the car releases are in FH5. "Here's a car that got dropped from FH3/4 because we don't have time to model a new one."
