mensrights has been a graveyard for years, with almost no engagement. They're also mostly leftists, really just reverse feminists who like to whine about victimhood and discrimination, but are either unable or unwilling to change their own lives in order to improve their circumstances.
Justice Kagan asked Mr. Strawbridge whether universities could put a thumb on the scale in admissions decisions to ensure that men were adequately represented in an era in which most college applicants are women.
Admits men are a minority.
Justice Kagan said the differing treatment “would be peculiar,” adding that “white men get the thumb on the scale, but people who have been kicked in the teeth by our society for centuries do not?”
But muh historical oppression!
I don't agree with affirmative action, but it's ostensibly designed to give people who are underrepresented right now, today, a leg up. Extending benefits to a class because they suffered in the distant past is the same as giving me veterans benefits because my great-great grandfather fought in the Civil War.

It's almost like women use race as a weapon to get what they want, from both angles.
When people are hating on them, they bring up racial nationalism.
When they are ignored, they piggyback off other groups for more privileges.
