Thing is, the Tigrays ARE better fighters than the rest of the country, so despite the war going on for 2 years, the Tigrays haven't lost.
You don't need to be better fighters in order to not lose in your home territory.
so the fact that the Ethiopian government would ally with a foreign country to invade "itself" just shows that the rest of ethopia doesn't even see Tigray as truly ethiopian and just wants to destroy them.
Knowing nothing of the conflict, this suggests that the Tigrays are in the right.
