Blizzard hasn't given a shit about gaming since vivendi took over and forced out the original leadership team so many years ago.

I knew a number of people who worked there. A lot of MBA types who gave 0 fucks about gaming sought out employment there purely because it's a big, successful company. They could care less about video games, they just want a "sexy" job at a Fortune 500 "tech" company. All these people would jump ship to work at Amazon or Google or Apple or Netflix in a second.
