Their job sucks, they have no close friendships because most people don't want to deal with someone they know is loaded with issues. They're dirt poor, live in a shitty apartment, and have to blow most of the money they do have on medication they are convinced will make them look more feminine or masculine (and are growing increasingly frustrated by when it doesn't). And they likely blow the rest on booze, pot, and illegal drugs, which will only make them more miserable once the high wears off. They've likely severed all ties with their families. And most of all, they live in a state of constant fear, anger, and paranoia because the media they follow religiously has convinced them that they're going to be hunted down and killed by Trump, the Russians, the Faright, and everyone who doesn't 100% align with their opinions.

Picking fights online with the full backing of their fellow degenerates, moderators, and corporate overlords is the only way they can get any satisfaction in their miserable and empty lives.
