I think most people are in favour of the status quo, and that's generally a good thing. We have good lives here, relatively high freedom, and anything radical will almost certainly destroy what we have.
However, it's becoming obvious that there is, literally, a global conspiracy to infiltrate, co-opt, and subvert our status quo. That being the case, nothing can be trusted anymore.
Unfortunately, we have little understanding of our systems that produce the things we want so it's hard to know what to do.
