Anecdotal examples don't disprove statistics about per capita behaviors. You're using the NAxALT fallacy (not all X are like that). It's identical to saying "I have peaceful black friends" when someone brings up the 13/60 crime stats about black people in the U.S, or about welfare usage, or IQ, or about voting habits, dileneated by race, sex, or other causal factor.
