No one listens to most of the shit this man says. 98% of it is pure bullshit and bravado meant to make people laugh and disarm them against his negative features. Most of it is filler, pure filler, nothing of context or meaning outside of entertainment for the masses value. It is his promises and his curses, the shit that's easy to soundbite for his fans that gets people drawn in they actually listen for. No one believes in Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny, just like no one believes Lincoln and Washington would come back to run on a ticket. It's a story to get people to pay attention, to relax and listen to his actual message.
Politicians will joke, they'll tell a story, then they get back to the message. It's all very scripted, all very easy to tell apart, so very ritualistically done that people don't listen anymore. They don't want to listen, they know it's all lies.
Trump needs no emcee, no hypeman, he is his own unique flavor. If the Biden appointment hadn't happened, there would be no Trump Bump in this midterm. People would be done with his schtick and turnout would be low. They want vengeance at this point and if they don't get a red wave, there might very well be a blood bath. DeSantis and Youngkin will not ride this tide if it continues, they aren't mainstream enough. Yet.
