Nick did give some constructive criticism of Ty on air when the Mignoga defamation case was lost. Particularly there were supposedly some procedural errors that Ty's firm fucked up on big time.

To his credit, I believe Ty Beard actually came on the show that night and took the blame personally.

Nick also was a little disingenuous in reiterating over and over after the sloppy errors and the legal loss that he just offered Vic a name when asked about possible representation and that it wasn't an official referral or an endorsement.
