See in any red state that has concealed carry, this wouldn't happen, or it would happen but be over in 2 seconds. Police have shown they are unsuitable to enforce law and order in cities to the point that the best thing to do is have two sets of law enforcement:

Draconian and brutal laws for cities, freedom for everywhere else so long as everyone is packing.
