They literally pushed the highlights to every F1 YouTube subscriber, every F1 newsletter recipient and shown them before the F1 in most countries on TV.
People did know about it, but it was as dull as dishwater and reminded everyone of the godawful Ham-Ros-Vet F1 era, where you could predict the finishing order of every race starting with those three and be correct 90% of the time.
I would have far less of an issue if it were the usual HamRosVet or HamBotVer thing.
You knew the result too, but at least you get really fast cars and some of the best drivers in the world.
What do you get in the w series? Shitbox drivers in shitbox cars. (seriously, Chadwick got outscored on in FRECA by a guy who missed half of the season because he went to F2).
The thing that makes me laugh is that The Grand Tour's test driver is in it, someone who was nearly beaten around a track by a 60ish year old Jeremy Clarkson.
If they were given more powerful cars, they'd be calling half the races off for low standards of driving, like that infamous Monza F3 race.
I still hold a grudge against the W Series, for trivializing the death of Anthoine Hubert. There was an agreement not to change Spa after he died, but there was a huge W Series crash and they pushed to change it. Such disrespect.
