It's not what Imp will say it is in a comment, but it's still obviously very wrong (and makes a peculiar precedent) (twitter.com)

Lebanon being "a real country" is something else man,

Man, this is embarrassing. Never heard of Tyre? Where was Ukraine 3000 years ago? Hell, where was even Poland 3000 years ago?

I was trying to get a raise from you (successfully),

If this is the quality of work that you deliver, raises are not in order, either here or at work.

of course you're a "real Phoenician".

It'll be funny when (or rather, if) you ever find out the truth.

How are you this mad about a different views on a corrupt, puppet non-country?

It wasn't "Lebanon", which is a hilariously dysfunctional and entirely artificial creation of the French and British empires that needed the European and American watch and interventions to stop it from violently imploding upon itself, which happened anyway after the Palestinians of all people tried to take it over, until 15 years later this "country" of dozens of warring factions was only brought more or less together by the final Syrian invasion as a Syrian and Iranian puppet protectorate ever since (especially since "South Lebanon" ceased to exist literally instantly after the Israeli occupation's pullout a few years later still).

You yourself tried to seize on 'Kievan Rus' as some sort of Ukrainian state, simply because it happens to be located partially on the location that the collective West claims for a 'Ukrainian state'. But Tyre, no way, you bad, you not our puppet!

I hope you will be well again soon. This is not normal. Lubie Polska.

The Ruthenians have always spoke the same language (which just evolved), while you guys have become Arabized just as you mentioned and then went to speak French and English.

You can't go and seriously tell me Lebanon is such "a real country". Among those in the UN today, it's much worse than even Burma which has literally always been in a civil war ever since the independence, but at least the junta has always held the capital city and there have been no foreign occupations at all. If the foreigners all left Lebanon alone and proclaimed so and it actually happened, the next week there will be just many different groups (including among the former military) all trying to kill each other everywhere.

And you know the Hezbollah would come on the top anyway.

Isn't your Tyre full of Palestinians today? They would make it Palestine.

So because some Vikings established a state in an area speaking Old Church Slavonic, which evolved with some slight differences from Russian, it's suddenly a real country? C'mon man.

I've even conceded to you that if Ukraine is still around 200 years from now, and actually has a firm national identity, I'll then say that it's a real country. Until then, it will have to prove itself.

Interesting standard for denying that a place is a 'real country'. Is one suddenly stripped of the designation if a civil war starts (ironic!)?

but at least the junta has always held the capital city and there have been no foreign occupations at all.

Hmm... so a country ceases to be real in your estimation if the capital city is taken by 'foreigners'? Even if it has happened in the past. How very interesting. Siri, who controlled Kiev in 1990?

And you know the Hezbollah would come on the top anyway.

Alliances are fluid, because there is no majority. Hezbollah was actually allied with civil war general Michel Aoun, whose religion you can probably guess based on his name.

Isn't your Tyre full of Palestinians today? They would make it Palestine.

Nope, just like Lwow is Polish, and will always be Polish.
