In a different society, I imagine he could have been really happy, honestly. An extended family and something worthwhile like growing a crop....The dude needs more than to touch grass. He needs to grow it. But he's also right in a certain sense. Women, as a group, have swallowed a set of falsehoods that make them have a unhealthy (mostly) sense of what is valuable and constitutes virtue.
