Keep in mind that that minimum also applies to people who accidentally kill someone, I think. In some states, that's considered homicide if you're impaired. If you're not impaired, it's not even necessarily a crime. I know of someone who killed someone by accident dead sober and was never charged.
I was wondering what you would say about this. The charge is probably the reason for the low bail.
