Objectively the West can't do much more than blustering. Europe in particular already fucked itself over with Russian sanctions. The US ain't doing too well either.

They cannot afford to sanction China without completely crippling themselves. If you think supply chains are disrupted now, wait till products and resources from China stop coming.

Of course we are being governed by ideologically driven crazies. So who knows.
