This might actually be a good thing. It's the first time the globalists have officially treated the term "democracy" the way they've been treating it unofficially for years: as a meaningless title that can be bestowed and revoked at the whims of our masters.
If the EU can simply decide that a country "isn't a democracy", then it means democracy has no definition. Otherwise it'd be like declaring that a cat isn't a cat any more after it bit you. It's nonsense.
Hopefully this wakes a bunch of Europeans up to the fact that the EU has been leading their continent into ruin over an ideal that officially doesn't actually exist and never did.
