I consider every part of the "Liberal Republican" section to be Left-wing partisan infiltrators. Including McCain, Rockefeller, Nixon, Wolofowitz, Bush, and more.

They are Leftists going the speed-limit and justifying Leftist principles and actions while mimicking a right-wing aesthetic.

The Nazis did the same thing. That's actually why the Left were always freaked out by them. The Nazi's success came from embracing a right-wing aesthetic, while claiming they could make socialist policies work in a "third way". People bought into the Nazis because it sounded like they could be a moderate between revolutionary Communism and the Capitalist boogeyman they claimed property rights would create. This is also why the Leftists see Neo-Liberals and Neo-Conservatives as inherently Fascistic. To a degree, they have a point. The issue is that the Left never opposed Fascism, it's just that they were angry that a different Left-wing movement had become popular and successful where Communism and Socialism tended to actually destroy everything they touched.

Fascism was the only practical way of applying Socialism in a way that could actually generate immediate, non-disastrous, results: State Syndicalism.
