Also I don't think courts rule things as "oppression", but legal/constitutional or illegal/unconstitutional, but the courts here are such BS I could be wrong.

Trudeau added misgendering someone to the Criminal Code and added it to hate crime provisions back in 2016 or so.
Speaking out against it is what made Jordan Peterson famous.
The SCC may not have ruled on it, but it's the law of the land until they strike it down.
Even that's a long shot. The new native judge that Trudeau just named to the SCC makes Ketanji Brown Jackson look like Clarence Thomas.
