Naturally, the common people don't want war ... but after all it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.

Of course patriotism has been replaced with the religion of woke, but they support the death cult all the same.

A disturbing fact that I was reminded of here is the left's assumption about "hate speech." This concept is the foundation of the left's deluded idea that they have some sort of right to silence political opinion.

When I say that tranny activists, for example, are totalitarian proto-fascists intent on subverting our common understanding of sex, and that it is impossible for anyone to switch sex, the left argues I am committing an "act of violence" toward trans-sexuals; therefore, it is necessary that my views be silenced because the psychological harm I cause is equal to hitting a random tranny over the head with a pipe.

Tranny activist rhetoric and the dupes who believe it are the greatest threat to liberty oozing out of the left--it is even worse than "anti-racist" claptrap.
