Which says a lot about the loud asshole who was dating said moron. He got what he fucking deserved. If only more of these abrasive assholes in life got served for harassment.
It is easy to switch off empathy for someone we don't like, if we think they are an asshole and the situation could never happen to us because we're smarter than them and not an asshole like them. But this is a deep injustice that shouldn't happen to anyone.
It's not a lack of empathy. His actions in the affidavit that he admitted to clearly are harassment because he certainly didn't just calmly walk in and state "we pay you". No one ever just says something like that, it's always a scream. And touching the officer, even their uniform, is legally assault.
Like it or not, this was an unruly mob incident. Mob justice is for once getting justice. He was not one of those just let in by the police who went on a quiet 50cent tour. That was the other side of the building. He was with the group who broke in and were trying to break into the congressional chamber.
This was not a protest. This was a riot. He gets what he fucking deserves.
Now, if we had real justice in this country, members of Antifa would be swinging from U.S. Government officially made hanging platforms.
Meh, I don't think it was a big deal, generally speaking. Maybe if he was the one breaking windows but it just said poking officers and yelling at them. So what? Even if it was a riot, it was still a political protest.
Even if there was vandalism it's not like he tried set the building on fire like they did in Portland. And just my opinion but I will always be for more serious charges when it comes to private property. I'm not worried about government buildings too much.

With backstabbing "allies" like you, who needs enemies?
Justice is blind, unlike you, who's just stupid.
