What the Proglodites did to try to subvert and destroy Tolkien's legacy as a foundation of English fantasy mythology was so ridiculously on-the-nose, it is as subtle as smearing shit on a Bible, to sell it inside a Church, while telling Christian you're making ''modern Christian content''.

Tolkien insisted very much how he disliked allegory and wasen't writing to preach about INSERT CURRENT THING.

Proglodites wore a Tolkien Universe skin-suit to preach about Intersectional race and gender politics. And probably launder a shit ton of money.
