Interesting that there's a narrative blaming unilingual Francophones for lockdown support and tighter media control.

Never heard that one before, but it makes sense at least in theory.

I would think the main source of what happened during COVID in Quebec for your average somewhat-based Anglo or American came from Viva Frei's reports.

Now that Viva's escaped to Florida, Quebec English Canada reporting will reporting will probably become a blackhole again.
