Eric Weinstein really wore out his welcome to me. He really likes to talk about how smart he is, but doesn't bother to explain his intelligence to us plebs in words that our puny brains can understand.
A Joe Rogan several years ago kind of did it for me. He was talking about some properties of number systems that sounded really interesting ... but then never even attempted to explain it in a way that my meager education that stopped with multi-dimensional calculus could grasp. That and his (admittedly relatively mild at the time) case of TDS got kind of old.
Really? A (((weinstein))) wore out his welcome? Feynman was awesome, though.
Edit: by the way, number systems are really, really easy to understand. I've explained them to party chicks in loud bars.
Creating concepts about number is much harder because, of course, who would really care about doing that. There's a reason that the Greeks thought heavily about Geometry, which is a property of the natural world, but didn't think too much about Number, which is a massive abstraction.
