I saw the first episode of the show at a friend's house this weekend. I thought it was meh at best and unnecessarily gory.
Spoilers for it:
King has to decide whether to have his child cut open from his wife during an impacted pregnancy. He authorizes it without telling his wife and she dies during the procedure then the child dies shortly after birth.
How the fuck does this twisted scenario help espouse their pro abortion views?
The woman and the child would have both died anyway if the king chose to do nothing.
There was no way to kill the child and save the mother in this scenario.
The creators are virtue signalling blindly with this.
All this scene shows is that medieval child birth was very dangerous and that the king is a pussy who won't even tell his wife his decision.
Instead of killing the child in the womb like the left likes, the scene involves essentially killing the mother to save the child and thus then seeing both die anyway.

What arest thou talking about? If neigh for the warlock Trumpthalzar, and the powerful golems he erected to enforce his will regarding abortion, and his hatred of women, thy king's wife would still be here, amongst the living. Curse thee, thy foulest Trumpthalzar! Curse thee, and thoust blackest magik!"
