I'd be more concerned about someone from China buying Plague Inc than stopping all Russians buying video games, you've just made it more enticing and might have embedded it into their culture to always pirate from the West as they will deny you even when you had no say.
I'm just taking note of everyone and every company doing measures like this as I wouldn't be surprised if they start seeing profit and market loss since they are more focused on virtue signalling than, I don't know, treating every customer equally if they haven't personally transgressed on you.

It already had been from Soviet days and previous "sanctions". Almost every mid-size company openly uses pirated versions of Windows and Office. It was starting to get better with more trade with Russia and integrating them into the global economy, but we sure put the lid on that. Good job America.
