The reproductive bottleneck is never going to be the rate at which a woman is physically capable of producing children anyway, unless the sex ratio is skewed in favour of the men. Because it's not the two year turnaround from conception to weaning that is the limiting factor, it's your capacity to support and train the child until they are old enough to do more work than they create.
