Not only that, they're mentally unwell, they're junkies, all their friends are enablers (and also mentally unwell and junkies), they make interacting with them a chore which will limit their social networks and job opportunities no matter how many concessions are made for them, and they've definitely burned tons of bridges as part of their transition. Is it any wonder they have such a high mortality rate and die young?
