If you were actually serious about switching to EV with no other motives, they would have focused more on R&D for batteries in better and cleaner production methods and longer life
But no with this it's another form of control, how?, limited range and only charging in certain areas make it easier to track and monitor than a combustion engine where you could easily store Jerry cans for longer range.
Yeah, funny how evs have the EXACT SAME range as a traditional gasser.
Electricity is harder to store/transport, especially on the individual level, and easier to turn off wholesale. They also take a lot longer to charge than it does to fill a gas tank, limiting overall trip range, even if range on a tank/battery were the same. EVs absolutely provide much less freedom than gas vehicles. They're also much more complicated, so if you wanted to get conspiratorial, your EV car company could be asked to turn off your specific vehicle. They're already all linked up for smart updates and the like, anyway. If the government is willing to shut down your bank account, they can now shut off your car too.
Wasn't there that glitch or hack earlier this year that meant all people that owned Teslas couldn't start their car?
