Having actually seen it, it's not a terrible movie. It's watchable, but it's also not that great. It's merely okay. There were a few parts that had some plot armor, and a few where the main character had to prove herself, but failed (Like not being able to take out the mountain lion and had to be saved by another of the tribe, her brother I think.)
I think the movie's biggest issue is that it exists because Danny Glover killed a predator in Predator 2, and he was rewarded with a handgun that had either 1715 or 1725 engraved on it I can't remember which. It was a nod to the audience signifying that the predators had been around for centuries looking for game to kill here on earth. It was a little throwaway piece of info that got turned into a movie no one asked for.
