Chuckles in alumnus of Quaker school where we couldn't even acknowledge the local equivalent of Remembrance/Memorial day...

Sigh...

They had to find "school musicals" without swearing or violence in them for us to do. Naturally, that meant my biggest "acting moment" was in an edited version of fucking Footloose...

It was so, so incredibly lame, lol...

But it did enculturate me with a healthy dose of cynicism/skepticism, and made me a crazy hippie for a while (probably a decade), so... There's that, I guess. shrug.

Absolutely no chance I would send my own kids there, in the future, though, lol...
