Putting aside what may or may not have been done to Bridget as a character (since it's sort of complicated and not everyone knows what is what yet) the reaction from the troons has been predictably creepy.

It's also mighty telling that they're fine with a change in identity in one direction (trans), but not in the other (normal/"cis".)

So, Bridget is a boy, forced to act like a girl by his parents. I saw multiple people saying it was "toxic masculinity" for him to stand up and assert his own identity (as a boy), but it was stunning and brave for her to give up and...let other people assert his identity for him?!

That's so fucking twisted it's unbelievable, and it goes against everything trans people claim to believe or support. But, hey, it's fetishism to most of these fucks at this point, anyway, and they love a good destruction/corruption of identity. It's sickening. They're celebrating (fictional) grooming, and some will even just come out and admit it openly.

These people are hypocrites and demons, and more and more people are getting sick of their bullshit.
