Sword and Shield's positive legacy is almost entirely going to be "yeah but the cast was really hot." Probably the only reason anyone will even remember it soon.

the danger was completely by accident

The danger was intentionally created by an imbecile who thought himself a "well intentioned villain" overblowing an environmental disaster a 1000 years away and turning it into a real disaster right now.

Its one of those things were its written so badly it turns around and becomes incredibly realistic to the actual climate change activists.
