The parents had sought at least $150 million dollars. On Wednesday, the accountant who oversees Free Speech Systems' finances testified that Jones withdrew $62 million dollars from the company over the last 14 years and that $9 million in cryptocurrency donations to Infowars 'went directly to Mr. Jones.'

So $4.1m actually seems like a win for him IMO.

Johnny Depp got way more against Amber Heard.

edit: I didn't know this was ONLY compensatory damages and punitives are getting announced tomorrow, which will likely be much higher. Alex Jones might have to hide all his money and flee to somewhere that doesn't recognize US civil judgments. Apparently there are a bunch of these lawsuits, not just one. He might be able to BK out of them, too, but the BK court can go up his ass looking for hidden assets.

Also considering it sounds like his own lawyers malpracticed the shit out of him, so it may end up being his lawyers who end up paying. Didn't he also receive 6+ million in bitcoin donations recently, or something?

This court case is a complete and utter joke, but as far as fuckings go, this seems pretty light. He was still done wrong, but could have been done so much fucking wronger.
