I haven't even figured out why there should be fear.

You mean of monkeypox itself? At worst, a really bad skin infection. Honestly, chickenpox is more deadly to adults. Hell, I had to watch my own mother go though that with shingles.

But the real reason for the fear porn is so they can justify mail in ballots. Hell, wouldn't be shocked if Democrats want monkeypox to spread. Remember the initial response from Nasty Nancy when COVID was first spreading around?
