No we don't, land that can not be used for harvesting, and is not on a hill can only be used for animal farming.
Plus not everyone can afford tractors, combines and more. What you are suggesting will exponentially increase the prices of food. If you think the current inflation is bad, wait until you abandon GMOs. That nice pack of cornstarch or soy product, or cotton? Will be so high you will think twice if you can buy it or not.
You are missing the point here, GMOs are healthy, better for the environment, for the soil, and for the economy.
You produce FAR less on organic than with GMOs. One of the reasons why is because you waste a lot of it due to growth issues due to pests or just downright wasted because pests ate it. So, those bushels per acre on GMOs will decrease quite a bit on organic.
GMO DON'T stop mismanagement and political ideologies, you can just as easily do a Holodomor with or without GMOs and that seems to be the current policy using environmentalism as a cover
The fact is we wouldn't have a food problem without these factors and GMO cannot cure that
You are confusing the issues again. Even if it was in the most capitalist country of the world, with the best management, best of equipment ever made you will still get far less crops per acre on organic than on gmo.
You're ignoring the point, under an efficient, capitalist worldwide system, we wouldn't HAVE this issue nonGMO or not, You're so focused on promoting GMO that you keep skipping past the fact the systems for food production have been made bad by politics either by incompetence or design
GMO can't overcome malice/retardation
You are so busy I trying to piss on GMOs that you are failing to see that even on perfect management that organic will fail to provide adequate quantity of food.
Example a 10 by 10 feet square, with 10 gmo corn plants 9 out of 10 will make it. I am giving 1 out due to growth issues. For organic, with perfect management, perfect capitalism, and no pesticides, around 4 to 5 will make it.
Calculate the cost now. Because you will feed less people using the same amount of land.
GMOs can't overcome malice or retardation but organic can't even be useful in a perfect system with no malice or retardation.
