Is this a joke? Poe's Law? It seems that if getting OUT of a stall that opens inward is such a daunting task, getting IN should have been just as difficult.
12 years ago this was my wake up call. Had to go to the bathroom. Squeezed into a stall. Barely had enough room to wipe my ass which I could barely reach anyway. Getting out was impossible without doing it backwards: was only able to get in because my gross fat flab belly got to use the space above the toilet.
Today I don't drink soda, don't eat junk food, and work out 5 days a week. 120 pounds are gone (probably more since I've added muscle). The reality is, of course, that the damage to my heart, kidneys, and pancreas are permanent. I'll never get rid of my loose skin or stretch marks. I'll never not look like a freak without my clothes on. These are my reminders to keep my life in check.
Had I encountered even smaller bathrooms earlier in my life I might have righted myself sooner and avoided the permanent effects.
Good on you for recognizing the issue, making a plan and sticking to it. Very admirable
