It is 2024. Covid is now asymptomatic in the unvaccinated and has a 10% fatality rate among the vaccinated. This is of course the fault of the unvaccinated.
Could go either way, though. Although I suppose that would be if the vaccine actually worked, so I guess the unvaxxed are probably in the clear for now. But it could have been really nasty, where the virus had to beat the vaccinated host body, evolved to be more virulent and deadly, and wreaked absolutely havoc in the unvaxxed.
But, as I said, the vaccine is so fucking shit I don't see much chance of that happening anymore.
Let's face it, anyone thinking the unvaccinated are going to start regretting at some point are just huffing massive copium they weren't bright enough to say "no" to the clot shot.
You missed my point. It's not that not getting the jab was the wrong choice, it's that if the vaccine did mostly work, but didn't stop transmission, you might end up with something like Marek's disease again, where a leaky vaccine causes a virus to mutate out of control in an artificial environment, and when it hits a natural immune system it is much more deadly than it originally was.
Thankfully, this vaccine is so useless that doesn't seem like it will happen in this instance.
Or, like others posit, the vaccine isn't useless, does generate immunity to only a spike protein since that's all the mRNA generates, and thus you can never form a proper immune response to COVID now since your immune system is programmed for a particular spike protein, and not the entire virus.

No, it really can't.
