I love the fact that the reason we switched from paper to plastic in the first place was to "save the trees". Now we're talking about switching back, smh

tbh the main reason grocery stores are switching to paper bags is so they can bill you for them

I don't mind paying for paper bags. I have reusable fiber bags for my groceries, and I purposefully get a paperbag every now and then so I can take out diapers and garbage and recycling in a bag that is biodegradable. I don't think I'm saving the environment, but I don't like seeing plastic waste in the local forests and don't want to contribute.
