Natures already adapted with the fact there is now plastic eating bacteria now, I'm less pissed at the 'oh woe think of the poor seagulls' and more from a 'we are just throwing away resources, we should be focusing on better recycling techniques to keep more resources with our own national economy than rely on imports.
I'm kind of wondering where all those old styrofoam burger clamshells went. They were supposed to still be littering the roadsides for another couple hundred years or so.
