this weirdly aligns with a conclusion I've come to recently as well; the left doesn't understand anything. In fact, they seem aggressively opposed to understanding.
Any fact, any concept which is plain to see, they flat out reject for some gobble-dee-gook nonsense, winding themselves up in esoteric nonsense to prove you wrong.
2+2=5 was the perfect example of this. rather than actually understanding the point of the meme, they literally spent months trying to prove that 2+2=5 could, in fact equal five if you tortured the math hard enough...
They are. Reality is normative and oppressive, and must be deconstructed. Their dogma is all that matters. It disagrees with reality, so rejecting reality is a virtue that must be aggressively pursued. Embracing reality at the expense of dogma is an unforgivable sin.
