There was a New Yorker article that was fairly similar to this one, at least in the outcome: witch-hunts against a boy who admittedly had done something wrong (showing naked pictures of his girlfriend to his friends), but the reaction was pretty crazy: a multi-year harassment campaign, which targeted not just him, but everyone who would associate with him.

There is a great need to reintroduce consequences for such things. I know I wouldn't stand by and be innocently accused of rape, nor allow such a thing for my son. I think proven rapists deserve the death penalty. So do people of whom it is absolutely certain that they are lying.

The modern West has lost all civilizational vitality, which is why we get this sort of thing. Innocent people are falsely accused of rape, and do absolutely nothing, elites are demolishing our countries, and the people do absolutely nothing. The light will soon go out.
