That's what I take from it. The most likely disease vector is these fucked up gay orgies. Even mainstream media sources will point to these things as spreading.
No one else is spreading it because they are much, much more unlikely to be having prolonged bodily contact at all regardless of monkeypox. I just spent an entire weekend with friends and their families most of which I'm close with and have known for over 10 years. Yet I don't think any of us would have spread any monkeypox out of our own immediate families because normal people just aren't doing that level of intimate contact with a bunch of other people ever.
I do wonder if it gets into child groups enough if there's a lot more spread, because kids might be the second most likely group to be all over each other with random people when they play.

That is precisely my point, thank you.
Sorry, I'm just a bit tired having to explain something this obvious. Especially being told, "what you don't regularly engage in skin to skin contact with other people like your family?" I'm not Andrew Cuomo.

Probably, to be honest. The only next avenue I'd suspect would actually be athletes, rather than children. Gay populations also tend to have "Gay Gyms" where they can basically hook-up and date at gyms that are specifically designed around that premise. I'd suspect that the disease could travel through an already infected gay population, then be spread to a gym which might have a lazy employee, and then onto other people.
