Jake was bullied by assholes and then had the mad case of hatters. So he was doomed from the start. The other guy, eh, fuck'em. He knew what he was doing and the character was awful.

I wouldn't say the other guy deserved to be insulted, I'm just surprised it happened. The older kids at Lloyd's school would have recognised him and apparently enough of them were bastards to make life hell for the kid, but how often would the Jar Jar guy run into someone who recognised him, let alone one who took a minute out of their day to harass some no-name actor?
