I'm sure some Chechens get used as cannon fodder, but I was talking about him and his buddies he films with, specifically. The Chechens are mostly there for propaganda purposes.
Also I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of those "wounded" were from friendly fire accidents and simple booby traps as opposed to combat. Look at how a guy gets hit by a sniper in one clip, and the rest of them stand around out in the open not sure what happened because they clearly thought they were in a safe area. These are not combat troops. They're tiktokers.

And in the post above they including mister red shoes (being pushed back by recoil) were gangsta firing machineguns overhead over a civ car that isn't even really a cover. This reminded me of an early Iraqi insurgent video where they hid behind cars and then got fucking mowed down by a belt fed, the cameraman himself was shot while trying to run away and the Marines picked it up and posted it on the internet. But this one was actually from Ramzans Telegram, so staged and they were safe.
You can also see a lone guy getting shot in the very same spot having run out to fire an RPG after mister red shoes was dropped. They're really fighting here, just not well.
