This is coming from the same people who want to abolish bail for murderers and rapists.
Murderers and rapists are not a threat to the regime, so they're fine with lenient treatment.

Or it may be a secretly based newspaper editor who 'accidentally' put these two on the same page to perhaps wake some people up.
