Kadokawa has a shitty ESG message on their site too (it even directly said it was for ESG). Even after that president apologized last time after the backlash for trying the shit he did, it turns out he still quietly snuck those "global standards" in anyways.
I work for the American branch of a Japanese company. I speak Japanese so a few times I've dug through our shared drive and prowled through all sorts of Japanese documents I could find on it. The yearly summary PowerPoints for the Japanese side all have a few slides dedicated to how their ESG team (yes, they have a whole team dedicated to it) is doing to further their ESG goals. Seeing as this is all supposed to be some cooky conspiracy theory, it was a bit creepy seeing it all laid out so clearly like that.
In Japan the main way they are doing it is "sustainable development goals" I think.
There are already a bunch of companies infected like Kadokawa's president is a member of the WEF.
