Yeah, this... This doesn't surprise me. Like, at all. I have had supervisors involved in this sort of shit, in Aus. I once applied for a job (yes, genuinely), that was in and around... Vaguely related research (because I needed the job, lol. Didn't get it, anyway).

I'm afraid that, if anything... We probably underestimate just how insidious, and ubiquitous, this stuff really is..
