I know conservatives try to make arguments that benefit the outcomes that they desire. But this would be such an act of flagrant judicial activism that I don't see any of the justices doing that - and especially those who are originalist.

Thomas certainly doesn't. He is an originalist, and there's absolutely nothing that would suggest an 'affirmative right to life' before birth.
