I've told you this before, but as someone who supported Trump in 2020, if Trump even HINTED that he would try to hold the party hostage in this way, the large majority of the Republican Party would turn into Liz Cheney overnight.

Nah. He did it in 2016, and no one cared. In the meantime, Jeb! promised to back the nominee and then didn't.

Unlikely. He has committed no crime, and a lot of people would go with him over the GOP.
